Hampstead Teas are cultivated in the biodynamic tea garden of
the Makaibari Tea Estate in Darjeeling, India.

Grown amidst 200 acres of undisturbed rainforest, their tea
thrives in harmony with the area’s natural ecosystem. Tea
bushes grow under jungle canopies, alongside legumes, cloves,
and bamboo. Wild tigers roam the hills, sharing their habitat
with native birds and flowers.

Biodynamic gardening, a practice developed by Rudolf Steiner,
is a method of regenerative agriculture that follows the
patterns of the natural ecosystem. Here, soil health, crop
diversity, biodiversity, wildlife, and community support and
education are integral to the self-sustaining, holistic approach
of biodynamic agriculture.
